Barbados will become 1st nation globally to have a digital embassy in Metaverse – from Jan ‘22; agreement signed with @decentraland, one of the largest crypto-powered digital worlds; plans are also afoot for legal declaration of digital real estate sovereign land.

Barbados has been on the leading edge when it comes to Blockchain, Digital Currencies, and adopting Technology to move the Caribbean forward.

The CoinDesk Report and Press release from The Barbadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, said that an agreement was signed on the weekend with Decentraland, among the largest and most popular crypto-powered digital worlds, for the establishment of a digital embassy.
