Blink bmobile promotes technology to improve regional education

ON the surface, cricket and video conferencing may seem to have nothing in common. However, a dinner hosted by the University of the West Indies’ (UWI) regional Chief Information Officers in Barbados on November 21, 2014, with former West Indies cricketer and Captain, Daren Ganga video conferencing in from Trinidad, set the stage to prove that both cricket and technology, indeed, have the power to unite the Caribbean. 

The UWI CIOs and their IT teams in Barbados were treated to this live one-on-one virtual interaction with Ganga in Trinidad courtesy TSTT at the company’s Belmont offices. TSTT in Trinidad and LIME co-sponsored the promotional dinner to celebrate the culmination of their support for UWI’s regional IT retreat. It proved to be an opportune time to showcase the TSTT Polycom Video Conferencing Suite and showcase the capabilities of the technology for regional communication and integrating offices in diverse geographic locations.
