Substantive conversations focus on the opportunities for investment, the business of investing, knowing when your business is VC ready and choosing the right opportunities in these rough economic times. The topical issue of women entrepreneurs, their successes, opportunities, obstacles and challenges for growth through VC financing will be focus of one of our panel discussions.
The attendees: A wide cross-section of Jamaican business persons locally and from the diaspora. Additionally, we are hoping to attract participants from the wider Caribbean region. We want to see entrepreneurs, family business owners, accountants, lawyers, investors (individual and institutional), academics as well as students from our universities. International venture capital experts from the US and as far away as the Middle East, will participate in the event.

How to ‘scale up your business. How to negotiate with a venture capitalist. What to look for and choosing a mentor. Opportunities for female entrepreneurs to network and grow.
The location The Jamaica Conference Centre is one the Caribbean’s most sophisticated meeting places. The Conference Centre is a testament to Jamaican architecture and functional elegance, offering comprehensive facilities and services to meet the most stringent requirements of conference planners.
