Plans are moving ahead towards the installation of WiFi access points at various bus stops and in the country’s south coast boardwalk area. The initiative is being undertaken through a partnership between the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation (BEF), and Flow Barbados. Project volunteer Khalil Bryan, who provided an update this morning, said the BEF would be securing sponsors.
“Execution by this partnership will produce ready connectivity for many people who rely on public transport and for the very large community of locals and visitors who frequent the board walk. It will be a major enhancement to the BEF’s Free WiFi project and a model for collaboration among the BEF and other stakeholders,” he said. More
