JAMAICA-Jamaica dipped 11 spots to rank 85th in the new Global Information Technology Report (GITR) published this month, due to low e-commerce, venture capital funding and Internet penetration, the report indicated.
The challenge remains to increase access to all Jamaicans in order to transform lives and improve the country’s ranking, Microsoft Jamaica country manager, Marcelle Andrea Smart, told Wednesday Business.
