JAMAICA-Minister of Science and Technology, Phillip Paulwell says that 20,000 tablet computers will be distributed free of charge to students and teachers at 30 schools across the island. Paulwell, who was making his presentation to the 2013/14 budget debate Wednesday afternoon, said that the tablets will be issued under the Schools Tablet Computer Programme which will include five early childhood institutions, 10 primary schools, five junior high schools and 10 high schools. more
