RobMeNot.com – Mapping Jamaica’s robbery spots…is a crime spot avoider, that shows people where the active crime areas are in your city. So you avoid or be careful around those areas. The web app was founded by Rory Walker (@Redrory ) and Rushel Miller (@Rushel ).
WifiSPottr.com is a simple web application for internet savvy locals to find wi-fi hotspots while on-the-go. It was developed by Barbadian developer Shannon Clarke @sajclarke. This project was initially started in support and in anticipation of one of the targetted goals coming from the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation‘s 2010 Summit: Free Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet) throughout Barbados! Then jamaica was added.
