I DONATED MY FACEBOOK STATUS TO REMIND PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA TODAY

What a brilliant idea – to ask Facebook users who are supporters of US Presidential Candidate Barack Obama to donate their Facebook status to remind people to vote for Barack Obama today. It’s just one of a slew of excellent and impactful ideas that Barack Obama’s strategists have employed to get to where voters are and into their minds, hearts and win them over.
The thing is I’m Jamaican and many of the people in my 324 Facebook friends network are Caribbean and without the power to vot,e yet all but a few donated their Facebook Status for Barack Obama today. Ahh yeah that thing called Collective Consciousness, where even though we may be outside of the American voting population is important, a thing the McCain-Palin campaign failed to understand, that power and how can influence everything else.
I’ve watched and read about how the Barack Obama campaign has used technology, and specifically a social networking strategy to create mind share dominance online and offline and it’s sheer brilliance. I’m taking notes as there are some thing he’s done that as an Internet Marketing Consultant would easily recommend to a few of my clients. Add to that for those of you who can vote.
