This year is the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Gilbert hitting and devastating the many homes of friends, families and fellow Jamaicans. Not a fond memory at all for me, as my family, we lost the roof of our home, many possessions and precious photos that September, yet it was the first thing I searched for on Stormpulse.com. I found Hurricane Gilbert’s picture, its path and information on this site that interactively maps and tracks active weather systems In the Atlantic. Stormpulse.com is the brain child of these two guys Matt and Chad. Matt I’m sure relates heavily to the site he co-founded, as he lives in Florida, which like Jamaica and a lot of Caribbean islands seldom miss the full or indirect effects of Hurricane season activities. Thanks guys.
