I read the recent article about Minvestment with interest, especially because I had been asked to do some research on it by a very close friend who heard about it back in November. He called me this morning and forwarded two emails from e-Bullion are very important for those considering investing with this HYIP. My friend ran into a problem recently – e-Bullion was not allowing him to deposit money with Minvestment. He sent an email and got the following response:
Hello,
Minvestment was instructed to leave the system by 1/16/08 and your errors are a result of their new accounts that they’ve been opening (strictly against e-Bullions orders) being blocked. We would highly suggest that you use an alternate payment processor to fund Minvestment if you still feel obligated to send them your funds.
Regards,
Security Operations, e-Bullion
Naturally he was curious as to why e-Bullion had issued this instruction, especially because of the questions related to the unusually high returns that are promised. He replied to the email asking why and got the following response:
Hello,
Minvestment was instructed on January 9, 2008 that they would need to leave the system by 1/16/08 and cease all incoming and outgoing transfers as well as not operate any e-Bullion accounts in the future. e-Bullion felt that was plenty of time to establish alternate payment processing methods and enough to not disrupt operations for Minvestment.
Against e-Bullion instructions, Minvestment continued to create new bogus accounts in order to accept more funds from Minvestment investors. This is why for almost a week, random new accounts with various names would appear on the ATIP deposit screen for MInvestment.
The best advice I could give you at this time is to contact Minvestment and/or your financial advisor who recommended the program for resolution to your issue.
Regards,
Security Operations, e-Bullion
Based on this exchange, it is clear that Minvestment has sought to disregard e-Bullions cease and desist request by creating bogus accounts in order to accept funds. This of course raises a major red flag about Minvestment.
My friend has chosen to terminate all relations with Minvestment since he trusts e-Bullion far more and I encourage others to do their own due diligence before rushing into HYIPs operating via the web.
